Dan Walmsley relocated himself and his family from Pennsylvania to Hilton Head Island in 2017, when Island Environments hired him as their Installation Manager. Quickly recognized for his knowledge, skill set and job performance, Dan was promoted to General Manager in 2018.
Dan received his Landscape Contracting degree from Penn State University in 2001. He has over 27 years of experience in the landscape industry having worked as a landscape designer, maintaining golf courses, and working for some of the nation's leading service providers such as TruGreen LandCare and Lowe's Home Improvement.
Dan was pleased to have the opportunity to purchase Island Environments in 2019 and to bring his own unique expertise to the business.
Nancy Walmsley joined the Island Environments team in 2018 holding the position of Office Manager.
Nancy also attended Penn State University where she received her degree from the College of Education in 2001. She served many years as a high-capacity Case Manager for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania before transitioning to a stay-at-home mother to care for their children.
Along with Dan, Nancy was pleased to have the opportunity to purchase Island Environments in 2019 and has now taken on the duties of Business Development, Human Resources and Payroll at Island Environments.
Maintenance Account Manager
Jordan Chabot is our main point of contact for all maintenance clients. Jordan relocated from Connecticut and has been working for Island Environments since 2017 as the Commercial Maintenance crew leader until being promoted into his current position in 2018.
Jordan’s character and professionalism coupled with his proactive approach with our clients has made him an integral part of the Island Environments management team…and yet he is always willing to get his hands dirty and help the crews in the field.
Jordan currently resides in Bluffton with his wife and four children and enjoys spending time at the beach with the family.
Office Manager
Maureen Quigley, originally from New Jersey where she worked for a leading Landscape Architect, brings a wealth of experience to her current role which includes customer service, general office duties, and keeping everyone in line! Her exceptional telephone manner and her rapport with clients makes her a valuable member of our team.
Maureen has lived full-time on Hilton Head Island for the past five years, though she enjoyed a second home here for 25 years prior. Maureen is a ceramic artist and is the proud mother of two children: her son, a dedicated doctor in New Jersey, and her daughter, who is currently earning her teaching degree in Charleston, SC.
Anna Kinsey joined the Island Environments design and sales team in 2024, and we are thrilled to have her bring her years of design and drafting experience to the company.
With a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Clemson University, Anna brings a wealth of local botanical expertise, fresh perspectives, and vibrant energy to her role.
A proud Beaufort native, Anna is the mother of two wonderful daughters who keep her on her toes. Anna is a genuine nature enthusiast who finds joy in both the great outdoors and the art of horticulture. Her creative spirit shines through in her passions for oil painting and hunting for unique mid-century furniture and décor.
Jeremy Garrett, a valuable addition to the Island Environments team in 2024, is eager to leverage his extensive design acumen and horticultural expertise to enhance the company’s offerings and exceed the expectations of our clients.
Jeremy began his landscape journey as a personal gardener after high school working his way into the role of designer and salesman in the nursery industry after earning his Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University in 2016.
Jeremy currently lives in Bluffton and when he's not immersed in his professional pursuits, he can be found exploring the great outdoors. Whether it's hiking rugged trails or soaking up the sun at the beach, he embraces every opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy life to the fullest.
